组织 (zǔ zhī) Organization
The first word is 组织 (zǔ zhī) which means ‘organization’. A way of using it in a sentence is: 没有你们,就没有这个组织。(Méiyǒu nǐmen, jiù méiyǒu zhège zǔzhī.) Without you all, there would not be this organization.
组成 (zǔ chéng) To make up
Another word we can create with 组 (zǔ) is 组成 (zǔ chéng). This means ‘to make up’ or ‘to constitute’. A way of using it in a sentence is 社会是由个人组成的。(Shèhuì shì yóu gèrén zǔchéng de.) Individuals make up a society.
组长 (zǔ zhǎng) Group leader
Finally, we can create the word 组长 (zǔ zhǎng) which means ‘group leader’. The 长 here means ‘leader’. A way of using it in a sentence is 为什么没有人愿意当组长?(Wèishéme méiyǒu rén yuànyì dāng zǔ zhǎng.) Why does no one want to be the group leader?
