紧急 (jǐn jí) Emergency
The first word is 紧急 (jǐn jí) which means ‘emergency’. A way of using it in a sentence is: 情况紧急，没时间考虑了。(Qíngkuàng jǐnjí, méi shíjiān kǎolǜle.) It’s an emergency situation, there is no time to think anymore.
着急 (zháo jí) To worry
Another word we can create with 急 (jí) is 着急 (zháo jí). This means ‘to worry’. A way of using it in a sentence is 我很着急。(Wǒ hěn zháojí.) I am worried.
急忙 (jí máng) Hastily
Finally, we can create the word 急忙 (jí máng) which means ‘hastily’. The 忙 here means ‘busy’. A way of using it in a sentence is 他急忙接起了电话。(Tā jímáng jiē qǐle diànhuà.) He hastily picked up the phone.
