The first word is 从来 (cónglái) which means ‘always’. Let’s look at each character of this word, 从 means ‘from’ and 来 means ‘to come’. A way of using it in a sentence is 他是个守时的人,从来不迟到。(Tā shì gè shǒushí de rén, cónglái bù chídào.) He is always a punctual person and never arrives late.
从头 (cóngtóu) From the beginning
Another word we can create with 从 (cóng) is 从头 (cóngtóu). This means ‘from the beginning’. Let’s again look at each character of this word, 从 means ‘from’ and 头 means ‘head’.
