The first word is 地图 (dì tú) which is a noun that means map. Let’s look at each character of this word, 地 means earth and 图 means drawing. Did you know 谷歌地图不能在中国使用。(Gǔgē dìtú bùnéng zài zhōngguó shǐyòng.) Google Maps cannot be used in China.
图片 (tú piàn) Image
Another word we can create with 图 (tú) is 图片 (tú piàn). This is a noun that means image. A way of using it in a sentence is 我把图片发到群里了。(Wǒ bǎ túpiàn fā dào qún lǐle.) I have sent the image to the group.
企图 (qǐ tú) To attempt
Finally, we can create the word 企图 (qǐ tú) which means ‘to attempt’. A way of using it in a sentence is 他企图逃走，但是失败了。(Tā qǐtú táozǒu, dànshì shībàile.) He attempted to escape but failed.
