The first word is 紧张 (jǐnzhāng) which means nervous. A way of using it in a sentence is 考试前我总是感到很紧张。(Kǎoshì qián wǒ zǒng shì gǎndào hěn jǐnzhāng.) I always feel nervous before exams.
紧急 (jǐnjí) Urgent
Another word we can create with 紧 (jǐn) is 紧急 (jǐnjí). This means urgent. A way of using it in a sentence is 我们需要立即采取紧急措施。(Wǒmen xūyào lìjí cǎiqǔ jǐnjí cuòshī.) We need to take urgent measures immediately.
