味道 (wèi dào) Flavor
Another word we can create with 道 (dào) is 味道 (wèi dào). This means flavor. A way of using it in a sentence is 这个蛋糕有巧克力的味道。(Zhège dàngāo yǒu qiǎokèlì de wèidào.) This cake has a chocolate flavor.
地道 (dì dào) Authentic
Finally, we can create the word 地道 (dì dào) which means authentic. A way of using it in a sentence is 你的普通话说得真地道。(Nǐ de pǔtōnghuà shuō de zhēn dìdào.) You speak Mandarin Chinese very authentically.
